A Message from Jennifer

Every summer I hire a variety of interns to complete a variety of projects. The intern focus changes every year according to the specific projects that we are working on. But truly I love to bring on the summer interns for so many, many reasons and below are a few. One; providing high school and college kids a chance to have real work experience, learn about business, learn to voice an opinion and collaborate on ideas is something I feel is essential as a community business leader. Two: the interns are really smart and fun to work with. They bring fresh and flexible minds to projects and ideas. Three: they enthusiastically contribute to the essential work to growing our business Four: They have great energy and make the summers that much more fun. A Message from the Interns As TruKid summer interns, we work on marketing research, manage the company’s social media, engage customers with blog posts, contribute to product development, run demo days, lovingly package your TruKid summer orders, and so much more. These internships give us invaluable real world job experience, while exposing us to the ins and outs of how a business works. Over the course of the summer, we learn about effective advertising, the importance of communication, how to successfully set and achieve goals, and how to be a useful part of a complex and multifaceted organization. Our young minds and fresh perspectives are valued at TruKid, presenting us with a nurturing introduction to the working world.
